Louis obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in 2017, specializing in Constitutional and European Law at the Université Catholique de Louvain. In 2019, he completed an advanced master’s degree in environmental law and public real estate law with distinction at the Université Saint-Louis in Brussels.
Before joining the bar, Louis started his professional career in the non-profit sector, where he worked for three years as a legal advisor for an organization advocating for the right to housing. Since October 5, 2020, he has been practicing law and in early 2024, he joined Urbanlaw.
Louis specializes in general administrative law, with a particular focus on spatial planning, encompassing zoning law, environmental law, heritage protection law, and local taxation. In addition, he has expertise in civil real estate law, including property law and tenancy law.
Within these fields, he provides both advisory services (such as drafting legal opinions and assisting with various administrative procedures) and representation in litigation (both administrative and judicial).
Since the 2022–2023 academic year, Louis has been teaching environmental law as a guest lecturer at the Institut catholique des hautes études commerciales (ICHEC).
