Guillaume has been a member of the Brussels Bar since February 2021 and joined the Urban Law team at that same time.
He provides legal advice to individuals, investors, and developers on administrative procedures related to real estate projects, including town planning and environmental permits, town planning violations, real estate tax matters, VAT, assets, and tourist accommodations. His area of work covers both the Brussels-Capital Region and the Walloon Region.
Guillaume also assists clients in administrative hearings and represents them in proceedings before the Council of State.
He plays an active role in the negotiation and execution of real estate transactions, including both share deals and asset deals. This involves preparing data rooms and conducting due diligence on urban planning and environmental considerations.
He focuses on the civil aspects of real estate law, offering advice on contract drafting (such as lease agreements, architect and business contracts), and supporting clients in dispute resolution, including judicial proceedings and alternative methods such as mediation and arbitration.
Guillaume further expanded his expertise in public law by completing an advanced degree in environmental and public real estate law at the Université Saint-Louis Brussels in September 2022. Previously, he worked as a legal associate at the Brussels Hotels Association, where he gained in-depth knowledge of the hotel industry and its regulatory framework.
